Before we
promise a route.
Can the aircraft fly close to live power lines?+
Only if electromagnetic, obstacle, containment and authority requirements are addressed in the approved concept of operations. It is not assumed safe from the aircraft specification alone.
Can LIFTGRID operate along an entire line route?+
Potentially, but extended or BVLOS operations require a more complex authorisation case. Launch missions should begin with bounded, controlled sections.
What utility cargo is excluded?+
Undeclared dangerous goods, loose or poorly rigged material, loads outside the mission envelope and any cargo the insurer or authorisation excludes.
